Frequently asked questions
How is a license delivered?
After your order we issue a license key and email it to you. You paste it into the product’s Register dialog (or the CLI) to activate — it works offline once activated.
What is a “seat”?
A seat is one machine that can activate the license. A 3-seat license, for example, can be active on three developer machines at once. You can move a seat to a new machine on request.
Do licenses expire?
An annual plan is time-based (for example, one year) — renew to keep receiving updates and support. A Perpetual license never expires: pay once, use it forever, with a year of updates and priority support included.
What do support and updates include?
Every paid license includes priority support and free upgrades to every new Nebula.NET version released during your support period — you are always entitled to the latest release while support is active. An annual plan includes this for the life of the subscription; a perpetual license includes one year from purchase.
How do I renew support, and what does it cost?
Annual plans renew automatically at $1,199/seat/year. For a perpetual license, your license never expires, but to keep getting new versions and priority support after the included first year you renew support & updates for $580/seat/year (about 20% of the perpetual price). Email sales@delta1labs.com with your key to renew. See the Support & renewals section for details.
Is there a support SLA?
Yes. Enterprise plans include a committed SLA — a 4-business-hour first response for Critical (production-blocking) issues, one business day for High, two for Normal — covered Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 CET. Licensed and Perpetual get priority email support with next-business-day targets. Full details are on our Support SLA page (/sla).
Can I try before I buy?
Yes — the Free edition is fully functional for evaluation, with caps on a few features. No account required.
Do you offer volume or academic discounts?
Yes. Request an Enterprise quote or contact us and we’ll sort out the right arrangement for your team.
