After your order we issue a license key and email it to you. You paste it into the product’s Register dialog (or the CLI) to activate — it works offline once activated.

A seat is one machine that can activate the license. A 3-seat license, for example, can be active on three developer machines at once. You can move a seat to a new machine on request.

An annual plan is time-based (for example, one year) — renew to keep receiving updates and support. A Perpetual license never expires: pay once, use it forever, with a year of updates and priority support included.

Every paid license includes priority support and free upgrades to every new Nebula.NET version released during your support period — you are always entitled to the latest release while support is active. An annual plan includes this for the life of the subscription; a perpetual license includes one year from purchase.

Annual plans renew automatically at $1,199/seat/year. For a perpetual license, your license never expires, but to keep getting new versions and priority support after the included first year you renew support & updates for $580/seat/year (about 20% of the perpetual price). Yes. Enterprise plans include a committed SLA — a 4-business-hour first response for Critical (production-blocking) issues, one business day for High, two for Normal — covered Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 CET. Keyright meters by active devices — distinct machines that currently hold a live activation across all your licenses (not the number of keys you issue). A device frees its slot when it is deactivated or its lease lapses, so a machine you retire stops counting. One license with many seats counts as its activated devices, not as one.

Yes. Keyright is available fully self-hosted, including air-gapped — you run the same issuing service and your own PostgreSQL inside your infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes or Windows/IIS). Keyright is .NET-first, with official client SDKs for .NET, Node.js, Python and Java. License files and activation use a documented HTTP + signature format, so you can verify licenses from any language.

Yes — self-service trials are built in. One call to /v1/trial issues a time-limited key from your own site. Trials auto-expire, are fully revocable and are tracked in your dashboard, so you never hand out license files by email.

Keyright uses Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record for your Keyright subscription and, optionally, for your own product sales. Lemon Squeezy handles sales tax/VAT, invoicing and dunning; Keyright issues the license automatically when a payment succeeds.
