Software supply-chain & anti-tamper

Ensure the software you ship runs as built — resistant to reverse-engineering, tampering and unauthorized modification in the field.

The challenge

Once a binary leaves your build system it can be decompiled, modified and redistributed. For supply-chain integrity the deployed artifact itself must resist analysis and detect tampering — protecting both your IP and the customers who run it.

Signing your releases proves origin, but it does not stop someone from modifying a build after the fact and running it anyway. You need integrity that holds at runtime, not just at download.

1 Build CI produces the artifact
2 Harden obfuscate + virtualize
3 Bind entitlement signed license
4 Run with integrity tamper checks fail closed

How Delta1 Labs helps

A layered approach

1

Make it unreadable

Obfuscation, string encryption and virtualization keep logic and secrets out of a decompiler’s reach, so a modified build is hard to even construct.

2

Detect tampering at runtime

Integrity and anti-debug checks make a modified or instrumented build fail closed instead of running.

3

Bind capability to a clean build

Signed licenses tie entitlements to a verified, unmodified build, so tampering also breaks entitlement.

Capabilities

What you get

Obfuscation & string encryption
Logic and secrets are not readable in the artifact.
Method virtualization
Critical routines run as protected bytecode.
Anti-tamper & anti-debug
Modified builds fail closed.
Signed entitlements
Capability is bound to a clean build.
Instant revocation
Retire a compromised release quickly.
Offline verification
Integrity and entitlement checks work offline.

Built with

Outcomes

  • Shipped artifacts resist analysis and modification.
  • Tampered builds refuse to run.
  • Entitlement is bound to a verified build.
  • Integrity holds at runtime, not just at download.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered

Isn’t code signing enough?

Code signing proves origin at download but does not stop post-download modification or reverse-engineering. Runtime hardening and anti-tamper cover the gap by making a modified build fail closed.

Does this work for libraries as well as apps?

Yes — protection applies to .NET assemblies generally, including libraries you distribute as part of a larger system.
